Ugly-beautiful things,
made with hope.
KIBO is Japanese for hope. It's a strange word to put on a face with bloodshot eyes and a red tear running down its cheek — and that's the point. Muskan makes the things she wants to see: a little dark, a little funny, never boring.
Each lighter face is rolled, carved and painted by hand, then glossed until it shines like candy. Each crochet creature is stitched one row at a time. No two are the same.
